County Galway the country's 2nd largest county, is situated on the west coast of Ireland. It belongs to the province of Connaught. The county capital is the University City of Galway, one of Europes fastest growing cities. County Galway is split into areas, each with strong and distinctive characters. St. Nicholas' Anglican Church is Ireland's largest remaining medieval church was founded in 1320 and is located in the heart of Galway city.
